Mentioned that many foreigners, who visited Ukraine first time in 2008 during the First International Conference on "The organic sector development in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asian countries" expressed surprise and genuine enthusiasm for the unusual taste of drinks, which (except of course, well known in the world our strong "trunkiv") we treated them.


These were stewed fruits - what we call the third most common dish in Ukraine - compote's type of dried or fresh fruist. "Uzvar" much thicker, more concentrated than ordinary compotes. To make it use apples, pears, plums, cherries (both dried and fresh), raisins, prunes, blueberries, cranberries, cranberries, strawberries, raspberries and other berries.

Often compote prepare only from one type of fruits or berries with the addition of raisins.These include apple compote, pear, plum, cherry, blueberry. Classic set of fruit and berry compote for precast - dried apples, pears, cherries, prunes and raisins, or fresh apples, pears, plums, cherries and raisins.

Often we used to cook stewed fruit compotes, dried fruits. Unfortunately, they do not need to boil. Just fill them with boiling water and cover tightly. This compote is useful without adding sugar. You can put a little honey. And do not forget that the greatest benefits from this drink - on the third day after preparation.

How efficiently these our traditions! Inside the winter and even after fasting vitamin reserves accumulated by the body, begin bidnity. Of course, it inevitably appears on the vitality of the person: the appearance, health and mood. And that so-called "summer dried - fruits - helps us overcome the cold beriberi.

Even in ancient times knew that the fruits (apples, pears, dried apricots, raisins, prunes) - is not just a dried delicacy. It is a true concentrate of useful substances! Dried fruits are rich in vitamins A, B, C, calcium, iron, phosphorus, potassium and other nutrients.

For example, dried apricots (dried apricots) not only meets the needs of the organism in phosphorus, potassium, iron, carotene and vitamin B5, but also promotes fat burning.Prunes help overcome stress and improve carbohydrate metabolism, and infusion of prunes solve problems with the work of the stomach.
